Reliability is the essential characteristic of a Taurean – to function satisfactorily they require a stable and secure background as emotional and material security is of prime importance. Taureans have a great deal of common sense but can lack fl exibility; even well thoughtout decisions sometimes require change.  As an outward sign of their achievements and their progress and position in society they often surround themselves with possessions.

Possessiveness, shown in many areas of life, is indeed the worst Taurean fault. Sadly, the partner can often become just another well-guarded possession - loved and admired, certainly, but stubbornly regarded as the property of an owner, rather than as a free agent.

The Taurean mind works methodically, carefully and decisively.
