They say you can never go back.
One local business owner has done just that. Jan Horn has opened shop in the same location of her former hair studio called Jamaica You, a business she co-founded in the 1980s. 1817 Osos Street is the name and the address of her new studio, located in the historic railroad district in San Luis Obispo. It’s a relaxing place where people can come for professional hair care, manicures and to enjoy the gallery of beautiful art by local artists on display at the studio.
“I have always loved this location,” said Horn, a hair stylist living on the Central Coast for more than 25 years. Of her new location, Horn said, “I think it’s a great neighborhood here with the pedestrian and bicycle bridge, the renovation of the old Railroad Square building, the nice restaurants and cafes. And I couldn’t ask for better landlords.”
1817 Osos Street is located between Santa Barbara Street and the train station on Osos Street. The studio is among a unique cluster of businesses which includes Café Roma, Sally Loo’s Café and other shops. Walk-ins are welcome. For more details, call 786-4247 or 786– HAIR
