Publisher's Note

For me it’s time to surge ahead and get the word out to you. If only we had more advertisers and financial support imagine what we could do. As with the occupiers across the nation we are doing all that we can with the resources we have to help create the change we would like to see.

If you like the direction we at the Information Press are going become our friend or fan on Facebook. We don’t have the time to monitor our Facebook page continually, but hopefully that too in the weeks to come will be fulfilled by and intern or volunteer.

Just in the nick of time to help in reporting to you what is going on Sean Shealy picked up the September issue of Information Press and has joined our staff. Along with our top sales person, Amy Harway, and the assistance of Dooley Graphics we are doubling our outreach and content power once again.

As you will read we are continuing to strongly report on what you can do to stimulate change in the world, change in your own reality. In addition to the articles you will read the advertisers are movers and shakers as well. You will find them in the middle or behind the scenes of creative innovative ways of enhancing your world.

During October the Information Press website will be upgraded and linked to many new sites. We will take you to where the action is or link you with sites that will provide you with valuable information.

Follow our Hearts of Fire Project friends who are traveling to Washington DC for the October 6th Occupation of Freedom Plaza in an effort to restore a government by the people.

The people of San Luis Obispo will have at least two opportunities to attend unheard of events in our community. The Bionners Conference attended by thousands in Marin is now offering satellite locations featuring televised speakers from the main event and several highly recognized speakers. See the article in this issue and visit the website. And last but not least Bill McKibben, author and environmental activist who was arrested at the White House gates in August, will be here to share his message, “Brave New Planet” on October 20. Tickets are ONLY $10, amazing. You’ve got to go to this one. You will be inspired and impressed.

Folks, it’s up to each one us to be the change. The people united will never be defeated.
