The Earth Day Alliance, a nonprofit 501c3, and Information Press are joining together to raise awareness of Cloud Computing at this crucial time for our environment and global economy. Decision makers at the state, county, and local levels, banks, schools, business owners, CEOs will want to learn how this technology will improve operations, security and the bottom line. An example of a non-profit application is an Australian group called the Aboriginal Medical Service Alliance who has used virtualization technology to manage their casework and medical records in regions where there is the constant environmental threat of flooding and electrical surges that can wipe out their equipment.
