The seventh annual Tribal Fusion Faire will be held at the SLO Vets Hall on December 18th and 19th. Dancers and artists from around the world will come together in a beautiful setting of Tribal Bedouin tents, canopies, exotic costuming and regalia for Celebrating All Tribes from 10am-11pm on Saturday and 10am-7pm on Sunday.
This eclectic and amazing cultural event features two days of dancing performances, a Saturday evening gala show, workshops, music, exotic shopping, and incredible international cuisine.
The 6pm special Saturday evening show will feature workshop teachers. They include world renown Amy Sigil & Unmata; Kajira Dhjoumana of Black Sheep Bellydance, author of the Tribal Bible and producer of the 11th annual Tribal Fest bellydance festival in Sebastapol, Calif.; Anaar of Tombo studios; Deb Rubin of SF Mecca Immersion & Yoga Studios; Heather Shoopman; Steven Eggers male bellydancer extroidenaire; Dawn "Davina" Devine, author of many tribal costuming books; Susu Pampanin and Terrie Anne Guitierriz, famous women drummers; Dana Johnson, Debra "Henna Crone" Reiser, Ras Danny Reggae All Star and many, many more.
Entry fee at the door is $10.00. Advance tickets for $8.00 are available at the new larger location of Bali Isle, 672 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo. Daily hours are 11am-7pm.
